Lesser Treble-bar

Aplocera efformata (70.193)

The Lesser Treble-bar is less common than the simlar Treble-bar but it occurs in the same habitats and localities as Treble-bar and can only be reliably separated by inspecting the tip of the abdomen from below.

There are two generations per year with adult moths on the wing from mid-May to June, and early August to early October.

Please note: From February 2023 all sightings records should be submitted via the iRecord Butterflies app available via the iTunes or Google Store. Find out more here: iRecord at Butterfly Conservation.
